Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I’m trying to get ahead of the game and do some reading and posting for Thursday. I think I might be interested in doing a podcast on a chapter from one of the books I plan to use with my students this year. Students always enjoy the story and I think it would be cool to add some eerie sound effects to it. The book is called The House On Hackman’s Hill by Joan Lowery Nixon. Lol and on a side note I just saw an advertisement for the final book to the Harry Potter series and it comes out on July 21. I am way excited, I love the Harry Potter books and movies!!

Well after 3 weeks of classes now I think I have a better handle on things. I think for me it’s always a rough start with things and once I settle down I’m usually alright for the rest of the semester. I’m hoping that doesn’t change for this one. Like I said before I just to finish up my 2 classes from last semester also so things will be pretty busy, but I’ll get it done.

This is my 2nd class and it seems to be the most work. I don’t think this is what I was expecting. I’m a very novice computer person and all of this seems very overwhelming to me. I guess all I can do is my best and see what happens at the end of the semester. My plate is really full, I also have my 2 classes from last semester to finish up due to my father passing away November 27. All I am hoping right now is to get through this semester in one piece and in good shape.
